Stephanie graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Language from Queen's University in 2012.  She then graduated graduated from the Veterinary Office Administration program with Ridgetown College the following year.  Stephanie enjoys travelling, dancing and outdoor activities.  She resides in the KW area with her husband, two children, and her Australian cattle dogs, Ryder and Scout.




Chelsea graduated from the Stratford Career Institute with a Veterinary Assistant Certificate in 2018.  She found her passion for animals a few years ago and has experience as a kennel assistant.  She loves being able to care for animals the way she cares for her own dogs, Luna and Penny.  She lives in Guelph with her husband and they enjoy cooking, playing fetch, watching movies and going for walks.  



Delicia graduated from Ridgetown College in 2015 with a diploma in Veterinary Technology.  She resides outside of Waterloo with her husband, two children and her cat Nala.  Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports and being crafty.  Delicia also dedicates her time as a Child Pastor at her church. 



Ellen graduated Veterinary Technician from Northern College in 2018. She decided to go into the veterinary field because of her love for animals, and has a special interest in rehabilitation and emergency care.  She enjoys riding horses in her spare time and spending time with her rescue pup, Piper. 



Erin joined Laurelwood Veterinary Hospital in 2018.  She offers over 25 years of knowledge in the veterinary industry with experience as a vet tech, and in client service and management.  She no longer shares her home with any fur babies but does share her it with her husband and 4 boys.  She spends her free time watching her children in an arena, on a ball field or in Tobermory and enjoys hockey, camping, hiking, reading and volunteering.



Leslea joined our team in November 2019.  She comes to us with 8 years of veterinary reception experience.  She shares her home with her husband and 2 cats.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her son and her grandpuppy.



Sarah graduated from Ridgetown College with a diploma in Veterinary Technology in 2017.  She resides in Drayton with her partner and their zoo of animals: Shepher Mix Finnigan, two cats Ava and Carl, Leopard Gecko Steven, and Axolotl Totoro.  Outside of work, she enjoys crocheting, spending time with her pets and eating pizza.



Jen has been a vet tech for 25 years, graduating from Ridgetown College in 1995.  She came to Laurelwood in 2012 to manage our new boarding facility. She left in May 2016 to live in Hong Kong and then Vancouver before returning in December 2017.  She resides in Elmira with her husband and two cats, Ozzy and Watson.  Jen takes great pride in providing the best possible care for your furry family.




Charli joined Laurelwood in 2017 and has 11 years of experience in the veterinary industry!  She graduated from University of Guelph in 2016 with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Animal Biology.  Outside of work she enjoys travelling, concerts and spending time with her family and pets.  She shares her home with her two dogs, Maggie and Leroy, and her

cat Peanut Butter.

Taryn joined our team in January 2021.  She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2015 and completed her Veterinary Technology Diploma at the University of Guelph: Ridgetown Campus in 2019.  She has two cats,  Poppy and Calliope that she shares her home with.  



Paige received her diploma in Veterinary Technology from Northern College in 2018.  After that, she received a diploma in Wildlife Rehabilitation in 2019.  She currently lives in Kitchener with her partner and their spicy tortoiseshell cat, Mabel.  In her free time, Paige enjoys adventuring outdoors, yoga, and drinking lots of coffee!



Bobbie joined our Laurelwood family originally with our boarding team.  With the pandemic she ended up joining our hospital team when our boarding department closed as a technician.  She graduated from Ridgetown College and has been in the industry for 15 years.  In her spare time she volunteers with a rescue group and she loves spending time with her 3 dogs.
