Coping with Pet Loss

The bond we share with our pets is profound. They are our companions first and foremost; oftentimes they become substitute children. In either case, they are a part of us for as long as we are fortunate to have them there and when they leave us to cross over the rainbow bridge, we are surprised at how much of an impact they had in our lives.

If your pet is currently battling illness or even young and sprightly, it is difficult to discuss or comprehend planning for their eventual passing. As we all tend to say, "my pet will live forever. There is no need to think about all this."

We have compiled some resources to help pet owners determine when it is the right "time" for their pet. As difficult as it is to plan for this kind of scenario, please know that we are here for you and are available to answer any of your questions.
